Sushi Shun

Absolutely loved this place! The sushi was super fresh and full of flavor, and everything was beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and the vibe was great. Definitely coming back!

I’ve been to Sushi Shun twice and loved it both times! Great service, big portions, and tasty food. Everything was great! My favourites are the teriyaki plate and fish katsu. They even gave us free Korean donuts at the end! Super kind and generous staff. Korean-owned and highly recommend!

Very fresh, very delicious! Consistent with their food always tasty! We usually get Bento boxes, and you get super full it's a lot of food.

I need to edit this review. We dined in for the first time in a long time as we usually opt for take out. The way the food came out was severely disappointing. Both of the dishes that my boyfriend ordered came out at least 5 minutes before any of my food got to the table. Also the fact that they play the radio is obnoxious. Regardless of this dining in experience we will still order take out as the food is fresh and tastes just as good as the first time we were here. The best quality sushi around cloverdale/surrey I’ve ever eaten! The salmon belly sashimi was like butter, the tuna is high quality deliciousness, the tempura is light, flavourful and fried to perfection. Truly amazing food sushi Shun has. Very friendly staff and the restaurant is adorable. Highly recommend!

This is probably the highest quality sushi restaurant in Surrey I have ever been to. Incredibly high quality for both their takeout and dine in orders. Big portions, thats all i can summarize for this restaurant. Their oshi comes in 8 pieces instead of the typical 6 pieces you see at other restaurants. Some of their sushi rolls come in 10 pieces where typically come in 6 only. You are getting bang for the buck. Their Teriyaki Chicken Don was extremely huge in portion. Cost only $15.5 only. The Chicken was pan fried so it was very crispy even for takeout. I was amazed by their high level of food quality and service. I would definitely be coming back to dine in or order takeout on UBER eats.

We went to this restaurant to have lunch after church worship. When we come in the staffs nicely greet us, they very welcoming. The place was bright and had good atmosphere. They provided us delicious food and service was excellent. The server also was professionally nice and friendly. Restaurant and whole team provided five ⭐ star. Definitely we’ll comeback 9.15.24

I ordered food from here and it was absolutely amazing. They give a lot food, which is so worth the price. The staff are so incredibly nice, lovely people. And the inside is super clean. I attached some photos of the food. I ordered a spicy chirashi don which had SO MUCH sashimi. And a tuna tataki, so yummy with eating the onion, sauce with the tuna. There's also the prawn tempura which is very crispy and didn't get soggy unlike some other places. Quality of the food is spectacular. I highly recommend this sushi restaurant to all. :)

Went with my kiddo after soccer on a quiet Monday evening to Sushi Shun in Cloverdale and it was a great experience! What we ordered: Yam Tempura - crispy and the dipping sauce was flavourful Oyster Motoyaki - my favourite, creamy, savoury and rich over a bed of spinach and onions. Aburi salmon - so good, nice torched flavour and the dab of hot sauce (go chu jang) was a nice touch. Not too spicy and well constructed so it wasn’t falling apart. Salmon avocado roll was fresh with a generous amount of avocado and salmon. California cone - generous size and kiddo approved. Service was friendly and prompt, and our server checked in on us frequently for quality and refills. Highly recommend visiting!
